Well, so much for my Halfway House post last week. I only managed a measly 2,000 words this weekend although my enthusiasm has taken a bit of a knock. This was because it was also halfway through my publishing push and I received the interim report. After over 80 people had been…

Well, I’ve made it. Broken the 50,000 word barrier in my new novel. Trance my first novel was 60,000 words but that was too short. Trouble Cross was twice as long at 120,000 words but taking out the superfluous elements – according to some – means Pratt, Pratt, Wally & Pratt is…

Call me flabbergasted. I just discovered something I never knew existed. I was just googling Pratt, Pratt, Wally & Pratt to see if it came up in searches, which it didn’t, but what did come up was a review on Trouble Cross that I never about. It is a fair review and overall a…

One mystery that was left to solve the other weekend was who drew up the shortlist for Britain’s Favourite Detective? As I was watching it I was trying to list in my head who had been missed out. I put Inspector Clouseau on the case but the little minkey did not get back to me…

So what has been happening in the two months of my blog hole? Well, there has been the gradual easing of the lockdown which some people said was too early and that the government were forced into it because of the inability of the population to take restrictions seriously. The…

Hello, it has been a while. Two months in fact since I posted anything. Other than working at the day job, I have been putting more time into my new novel. I discovered that I had written myself into a corner and had to work myself around that. I seem to be back on track now and…
